These are solid cast iron and heavy duty.
The color is an antiqued bronze-look with blue green tints which inhibits rust. You can easily paint to the color of your choice with spray paints or acrylics. Many people like the distressed look. You can achieve this by spraying a base coat color and lightly rubbing a secondary color on top with acrylics.
